N2 Applied has passed a new milestone. As of March 2017, a new Board of Directors have been elected as the result of a thorough and careful search process. The members are chosen for their competences, networks and capacities within key areas for the company going forward.
Mr. Jan Magnussen has been elected Chairman of the Board, and Board members are the long standing industrial capacity Thorleif Enger and dairy expert Ida Berg Hauge. Co-founder of N2 Applied and N2 Agri, Rune Ingels, remains on the Board of Directors as well.
Our new board represents strong international focus headed by Chairman Jan Magnussen as the “hub” for investor relations, financing and digitalization which are all core fields of our business model.

Dr. Enger served as President and CEO of Yara International ASA until 2008. The Yara company was spun out of Norsk Hydro and became a listed company in the spring of 2004. Since then, the market value of the company increased several fold, reaching about 100 billion NOK making it one of the largest companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange with a turnover of almost 90 billion NOK. Yara is the largest supplier of fertilizer in the world with a global presence on all continents.
Ida Marion Berg Hauge

Mrs. Ida Berg Hauge is currently CEO of the Norwegian Dairy Council (Melk.no). Melk.no is owned by the dairy industry and financed by the Norwegian dairy farmers. The objective is to increase the generic consumption of Norwegian dairy products with main emphasis on science based communication of the health benefits and use of dairy products. Berg Hauge has a long career as a marketing, communication and marketing research specialist. She is currently involved as a Norwegian representative in several international dairy organizations worldwide.

Mr. Magnussen has until recently served as SVP Business Development at Scatec AS. He was CEO in Scatec Solar during the initial start-up phase and CEO in Scatec Adventure. Mr. Magnussen is also chairman in Keep-it Technologies, a director on the board of Norsk Titanium and CEO in Scatec Energy, a wind energy development company in the US. Previously, Mr. Magnussen was the Technical Director of Vensafe, and he has co-founded several Norwegian start-ups: Avenir, daVinci, Rail-X, GetHelp and Netlife Research among others.
